This was a commission for Zack (http://kittizak.deviantart.com/) of his character Zoey. Zack donated a couple of years ago when my computer died... and yes, it's taken me this long to get it done (and there are many more left to do), but at least I can say that the art is better now than it was then. :D

Dart took a deep breath; if he followed the Will'O'Wisp's advice, taking the blossom from the water was the best decision, taboo or not. Though... the spirit had been very forceful in its persuasion, he reasoned. Perhaps it would be best to leave the flower and trust the wind to get him out of this underground chamber. After all, being only six inches tall is not really suitable to taking a lot of punishment. Then again, what kind of trouble would he be in if he refused the spirit's orders? ... Yeah, something like that. Little dragon, a mysterious q-shaped snake thing, and a crazy glowing flower... All part of the open canvas practice extravaganza! Which is officially over because I need to get back to work. :( BUT! It was very fun while it lasted and I have learned a lot! More next weekend.

What started as a 'ten-minute before bed drawing for ME and ONLY ME' turned into a two and a half hour coloring experiment in Open Canvas. The compression killed a lot of detail, but it's supposed to be silly, anyway. I figure it's what Aaron would look like as a fish, thus, Mr. Aaron Fish. And no, I've never seen 'The Incredible Mr. Limpet', but I'm guessing that's the one movie with the fish who has glasses. I've got no idea.
